Dr. Alexis Pugh is a board-certified orthodontist, Birmingham native, and proud Auburn University alum. After completing her undergraduate studies at Auburn, she attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where she graduated first in her class. Following dental school, Dr. Pugh pursued her passion for orthodontics at the University of Texas at Houston, earning her master’s degree and advanced orthodontic training. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction earned by only a select group of orthodontists who have completed rigorous clinical and written examinations demonstrating the highest standard of orthodontic care.

Outside of the Office

Dr. Pugh lives in Hoover with her husband, Trey, and their two daughters, Brighton and Lucy. When she’s not designing beautiful, confident smiles, Dr. Pugh enjoys staying active with workouts on her Peloton, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, and sneaking off to the beach with her family whenever she can.
